Bacon-Wrapped Dates

If using, stuff each date with a whole almond or pecan. This step is optional but adds a delicious crunch to the finished appetizer

Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick. Repeat until all dates are wrapped

If desired, roll each bacon-wrapped date in brown sugar to add sweetness and caramelization

Arrange the bacon-wrapped dates on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down
